Applications Now Open: DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship
The fifth annual DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship, which helps an emerging Australian fashion designer get one step closer to global success, is now accepting applications.
Already a staunch supporter of up-and-coming designers, DHL Australia has assisted the teams behind Kahlo, We Are Handsome, Haryono Setiadi and Bec & Bridge in branching out into European markets. This year, the winning designer will get similar support, with $10,000 AUS worth of international freight and mentoring from IMG Fashion and DHL Express. Following the launch of DHL Exported competition earlier this year, the winner will also have the opportunity to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York and while they are there, meet with an international buyer.
Open to all aspiring Australian fashion designers and labels that have been exporting their label for less than four years, the scholarship will be judged by an industry leading panel of fashion and logistics experts, including Prue Lewington, Sunday Telegraph Fashion Editor.
