Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014
Having supported the retail and textile industry in India for years with top-of-the-line supply chain and logistics services connecting the sub-continent with the rest of the fashion world, DHL is proud to have expanded their support by partnering with the largest fashion festival in India, Lakme Fashion Week.
Now in its eighth year, the partnership includes a unique event each season that brings top Indian talent to the runway for a DHL-sponsored show. For the Winter/Festive 2014 collections shown in August, that show presented young designers, Masaba Gupta and Amit Aggarwal at the opening night of Lakmé Fashion Week. Both designers presented a refreshing and contemporary couture collection with very contrasting styles and themes that opened the five-day extravaganza to fashionistas in the city.
The curtain raiser to the most sought-after event in the fashion calendar also included the model/actress/entrepreneur, Shilpa Shetty Kundra scorching the runway, a winning combination of all the fiery and festive brands.
