Veronica B Vallenes Wins DHL – Get Global Award
Copenhagen-based designer Veronica B. Vallenes won the newly established “DHL – Get Global” award, the biggest fashion award in Scandinavia.
Vallenes' womenswear has a distinct look combining Nordic simplicity and Parisian elegance that has caught the attention of press and costumers worldwide. With the award, given in cooperation with Wear Denmark, the highly talented Norwegian will be able to increase international awareness of her line and expand her sales network with the support of DHL.
Beginning with a full catwalk show at The Old Stock Exchange in the heart of Copenhagen as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week on January 29, Vallenes has the chance to get her designs in front of journalists' and buyers' eyes – a coveted and essential place in the spotlight for a fashion line looking to expand outside Scandinavia.
She'll likewise gain contact to more than 10,000 shops around the world and space at the two biggest fashion tradeshows, Cotterie in New York and Who's Next in Paris.
It's a breakthrough for an indisputable design talent that DHL is happy to support as she makes her way out into the world. With the DHL – Get Global award, Veronica can now focus on creating her beautiful collections, increase her showing power, and expand her sales network.
